History of the PS3 Jailbreak scene

For the history of the PS3 Jailbreak scene we need to start way back on the 16th of May 2005 for this was the date that Sony first boke the news of their new console.  The initial design included a strange looking boomerang shape controller that was quickly dropped in favour of the more standard dual shock design carried over from the PS2.

Early 2006 and the console design was finalised with the now black (sandwich toaster) design.  Much talk online had already been made of the PS3 security and code signing techniques employed allegedly making it 'un-hackable'
